Savings Accounts

We realize our members have different savings goals. That’s why Financial Partners Federal Credit Union has several savings options for you to choose from.  So whether you're saving a little or a lot, long term or short term, we have the best account to fit your needs. 

SHARE SAVINGS ACCOUNT
Opening a share savings account gives you access to the many benefits of being a credit union member.  A minimum balance of $5 must be maintained in this account. There are no annual fees for active members. Dividends are paid quarterly on accounts with average daily balances of $250 or more.

JUNIOR PARTNERS ACCOUNTS 
Financial Partners is committed to starting youth on the path of setting financial goals and saving to reach them.  This account is specially designed for our younger savers.  Children under 18 years of age are eligible.  This account has a $5 minimum balance requirement, earns higher dividends from the first dollar, and offers periodic special give-aways. 

CHRISTMAS CLUB SAVINGS ACCOUNT
The perfect account to put money away for a special holiday gift and avoid paying those after Christmas bills.  Simply deposit funds at your convenience or set it up to transfer out of your share account. The funds from your holiday share with be automatically deposited to your checking account during the first week of November in time for the shopping season.

NOTE: Christmas Club transfers typically take place during the first week of November. The balance will be transferred to your Financial Partners Checking account. If you would prefer another option, please contact the credit union before the transfer date to specify what you would like to have done.

SPECIAL SAVINGS ACCOUNTS
Special savings accounts may be opened for vacations, yearly expenses, major purchases, or for whatever purpose you have in mind. These savings accounts are handled just like your normal savings account, and make budgeting a breeze.

SUPER 7 SHARE
Maximize your savings return by taking advantage of our Super Seven account.  This is a short term certificate that offers weekly access to your money.  The Super 7 Share offers higher rates than a regular share account.  A $10,000 minimum balance is required.  Additional deposits may be made at anytime with a minimum of $1,000.  Minimum withdrawal amount of $1,000 is permitted on Wednesdays only without penalty.
